The main tasks of the Faculty are as follows:
To strictly ensure the implementation of legislative documents related to organizational and educational-methodical activities aimed at training legal personnel under the bachelor’s degree program, the decisions and work plans of the Board of the General Prosecutor’s Office, the decisions and work plans of the Academy Council, as well as the orders, instructions, and directives of the Prosecutor General and the Head of the Academy;
To coordinate the process of organizing quality admission to the bachelor’s program, including receiving, reviewing, and collecting applicants’ documents, conducting the selection process, providing consultations, and managing other organizational matters;
To organize the educational process in accordance with curricula and programs developed on the basis of modern teaching forms and methods, pedagogical, information-communication, and innovative technologies, which ensure the close integration of theoretical training with law enforcement practice, and aimed at developing students’ systemic analysis, critical thinking, and professional skills;
To provide in-depth, targeted basic training for specialists in the field of jurisprudence, including criminal investigation, by introducing an effective system for developing high moral, psychological, analytical, and professional qualities integrated with a culture of unconditional respect for human rights and freedoms;
To form and develop students’ specialized professional skills, involving them in the educational process in the fields of investigation and other areas of law enforcement activities, based on programs designed to convey the essence and content of judicial and legal reforms;
To participate in the introduction of interactive teaching methods into the educational process, aimed at developing independent case management skills in criminal proceedings, based on effective determination of methods and tactics of criminal investigation;
To coordinate the activities of the Academy’s structural units in organizing the educational process aimed at ensuring the close link between theoretical training and law enforcement practice, based on modern forms of teaching, pedagogical, and information technologies;
To develop draft documents related to the organization of the educational process;
To carry out cooperation with the prosecution bodies, courts, and other state agencies in order to ensure the close connection of students’ theoretical knowledge with law-making and law enforcement practice;
To organize the involvement in the educational process of highly qualified specialists with professional skills and practical experience from the prosecution bodies, courts, law enforcement agencies, as well as leading local and foreign educational institutions, analytical and research centers;
To identify the needs for classrooms, to monitor the rational use of allocated classrooms;
To implement measures aimed at providing the educational process with material-technical, information-communication, and didactic support, etc.
