Goals and Objectives
The primary purpose of the Academy is to provide training and retraining for qualified personnel in line with the new Uzbekistan's requirements. Additionally, it aims to meet advanced international standards, modern information technologies, and the need for highly skilled personnel in law enforcement agencies. The Academy also aims to establish an effective system for training staff and conducting fundamental and scientific-practical research.
The main tasks and areas of focus include:
- Training and retraining of staff, ensuring their knowledge and skills align with the prosecutor's offices' requirements, compliance with laws, protection of citizens' rights and freedoms, and the establishment of a unified system for their competencies.
- Wide implementation of interactive and problem-based teaching methods, as well as modern pedagogical and distance learning technologies and training programs.
- Conducting research and addressing current issues related to crime prevention, the rule of law, legal strengthening, business and state affairs, and the implementation of research programs and projects, including national, foreign, and international grants.
- Developing a scientific foundation and providing recommendations for improving legislation and fostering a uniform legal practice.
- Providing practical training and education for undergraduate and master's programs, incorporating practical aspects relevant to the activities of the prosecutor's office.
- Training government employees and personnel from other organizations on cooperation in the prevention of offenses, crime, and anti-corruption.
- Offering psychological support to the prosecutor's office activities, conducting professional and psychological assessments during candidate selection, and studying the spiritual and psychological environment within the prosecutor's office.
- Engaging in international cooperation through collaborative scientific research, exchanging regulatory, methodological, and analytical information, attracting foreign specialists to the educational process, and organizing systematic internships for teachers, researchers, and students.
- Enhancing the education, retraining, and qualification of legal personnel, including the development of practices to improve the quality of the educational process.
- Involving highly qualified foreign specialists in the educational process and scientific work, as well as establishing collaborations with foreign educational and research institutions for training, retraining, and advanced education.
- Implementing an effective system for developing high spiritual, psychological, analytical, and professional qualities in educators and improving the effectiveness of criminal investigation bodies in crime investigation.
- Introducing interactive teaching methods that focus on the development of criminal proceedings based on effective determination of criminal cases.
- Training highly qualified scientific and pedagogical staff and conducting comprehensive scientific research on pressing issues related to law enforcement activities.
- Providing methodological and consultative support for the causes and conditions of crime, including examination documents and criminal proceedings, diagnostics, and control of criminality.
- Ensuring continuous international cooperation in the field of judicial studies, exchanging advanced pedagogical experiences, and involving qualified specialists from leading foreign higher education and research institutions in the educational process.
