At the academy, employees of the prosecutor's office are trained in advanced training courses, the duration of which is not less than 144 hours. Training sessions are aimed at conveying the content and essence of legislative news, improving professional skills and qualifications, teaching the advanced achievements of prosecutor-investigative work, as well as eliminating systemic deficiencies in the activities of prosecutor's office employees.
The periodicity of professional development of prosecutor's office employees is at least once every three years.
Professional development courses are organized by the employees of the prosecutor's office in full-time or partially separated from the place of work, as well as in distance (electronic on-line or offline) forms of education without separating from the place of work.
Another know-how of the Academy is the transfer of advanced training programs to a blended learning model, which provides for a system of interconnected use of electronic and traditional stages of education.
The Academy also provides advanced training for employees of state bodies and other organizations on issues of interaction in the field of crime prevention and the fight against crime and corruption.
The created material and technical base and the introduction of a set of digital solutions radically changed the approach to organizing the educational process at the Academy, allowing it to radically improve its quantitative and qualitative indicators.
In particular, since the establishment of the Academy, 11,072 employees of the prosecution authorities, the Department and the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement have been trained (2018 - 905, 2019 - 3055, 2020 - 2607, 2021 - 4314), as well as 6 107 employees of other organizations and departments (2018 - 2525, 2019 - 1658, 2020 - 1210, 2021 - 714), a total of 17,179 employees were trained.
In order to ensure the possibility of advanced training based on the needs and requests of field staff, the Academy uses an elective (selective) model of course development based on feedback mechanisms.
This completely new approach has made it possible to continuously provide professional development activities in the form of an individual educational trajectory.
Students who successfully complete advanced training courses receive a certificate.
