PURPOSE OF THE CENTER

The purpose of the Сenter is to carry out educational, teaching-methodical and scientific-research activities in the direction of fighting corruption.

DUTIES OF THE CENTER

The main tasks of the center are:

improving the skills of prosecutors, law enforcers, state bodies and other organizations in the field of combating corruption, deepening their professional knowledge and skills in this regard;

organization of training sessions, seminars, roundtable discussions, training and other events for employees of state bodies and other organizations, economic management bodies, on prevention and fight against it;

organizing and conducting fundamental, scientific, practical and innovative research aimed at preventing and eliminating corruption;

development of scientifically based conclusions and recommendations on the improvement of legislation in the field of combating corruption and the formation of the practice of applying the uniform law in this field;

implementation of measures aimed at ensuring the compliance of the provisions of the UN Convention against Corruption and other international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of combating corruption with the national legislation;

assistance in the implementation of the recommendations of the Istanbul Action Plan of the Eastern European and Central Asian countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development to fight against corruption;

participation in the development and implementation of state programs and other programs in the field of combating corruption;

implementation of tasks assigned to improve the position of the Republic of Uzbekistan in international rankings and indexes in the field of fighting corruption, including scientific and practical analysis and research in this regard, etc.

Tursunbekov Hudayberdi

H.Tursunbekov began his career in 2008 as an intern at the district of the Prosecutor's Office. Worked as investigator in district, senior investigator for particular important cases of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption of the regional prosecutor's office, senior prosecutor of the Department for Combating Organized Crime and Corruption of the General's Prosecutor Office.

For conscientious and exemplary performance of official duties, He was awarded with a commemorative specific badge “30 years for the prosecutor’s office of Uzbekistan”  in 2022.

H.Tursunbekov is a member of the Secretariat of the Informal Asset Recovery Network for Western and Central Asian Countries (ARIN-WCA).

Member of the expert group under the Anti-Corruption Agency.

Zufarova Shahnoza

Sh.Zufarova began her career at the Academy in 2018 as a prosecutor of the Center for Scientific, Applied and Innovative Research on Legal Problems and Training of Scientific Personnel. In the period 2021-2022 Worked as head of the department of international relations.

Achievements in work:

For her contribution to the development of international cooperation in 2021, she was awarded the Commemorative Jubilee Medal of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of the States Parties to the Commonwealth of Independent States “25 years of the CIS KSGP”.
