A seminar training was held on the effective organization of elective courses

Systematic work is being carried out by the Law Enforcement Academy to improve the pedagogical skills of professors and teachers, and to introduce innovative methods and technologies into the educational process.

On March 23-27, 2023, another seminar training was held with the participation of the Academy's professors and teachers on the development of elective courses and their requirements, as well as the effective organization of current elective courses.

To develop the knowledge and skills of professors and teachers during the seminar training, the mechanisms of diversification of the training process based on remote and mixed forms, the methods of strategic planning of the training process based on pedagogical design (Instructional design) models, the tutoring activities within the distance and mixed courses characteristics were considered.

Also, the technologies of forming distance and mixed course curriculums based on mandatory and elective modules, the components of elective courses, didactic support, placing the newly developed elective courses on the electronic platform, and putting them into practice were discussed in detail.

This seminar training served to develop the skills of the Academy's professors-teachers in organizing elective courses and conducting tutoring activities and to improve their pedagogical skills.
