A conference was held at the Karshi State University

An international conference on the topic "Enhancing the constitutional foundations of democratization of the judicial system: ensuring human rights and freedoms is the most important task" was held at Karshi State University.

The event was attended by the Supreme Judicial Council, Supreme Court, Constitutional Court, Ministry of Justice, representatives of the General Prosecutor Office, international experts, key stakeholders in the judicial system, honorary guests, and representatives of civil society.

During the conference, detailed explanations were provided about the new norms related to the democratization of the judicial system in the updated Constitution, including the consolidation of constitutional foundations, effective protection of human rights, and enhancing the independence of courts and judges. The Chief of the Law Enforcement Academy, Ph.D., Professor M. Mamasiddikov, participated in the conference with a lecture titled "Human dignity and value is a high priority!"

The lecture focused on the necessity of constitutional reforms, the essence of the people's constitution, and the significance of the main innovations in the constitutional project. At the end of the event, the "Honorary Judge" insignia was awarded to experienced judges who have shown fruitful work in the implementation of the judicial reform.
