At the Law Enforcement Academy, the next meeting of the Scientific Seminar under the Scientific Council No. DSc.31/31.12.2020.Yu.67.01 conferring Doctor of Science (DSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degrees in legal sciences was held.
It examined the research works of independent researcher A.Imomnazarov affiliated with the "Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise" on the topics "Procedural and criminalistic aspects of the improvement of inspection and investigative action" and "Procedural and criminalistic aspects of inspection as a method of collecting evidence" by L.Barakaev.
Independent researchers emphasized problems arising in practice, methods for resolving them, and the potential use of modern technologies in these procedures. In addition, institutions including inspection, additional and re-examination of digital data carriers, vehicles, expert report as a source of evidence in the Criminal Procedure Code, appeal against the decision of inspection, interrogation of the inspector, and the procedure for determining responsibility for issuing a false report have been established. There were put forward proposals.
Their scientific work was evaluated favorably, and they were recommended for advancement.
