In the fifth priority direction of Uzbekistan's development strategy for 2022-2026, special attention was paid to ensuring spiritual development and bringing the industry to a new level. It stipulates the organization of legal-educational activities on the formation of legal culture among the population in harmony with the teaching of the rich history, scientific and cultural heritage of our nation, and national religious values.

Based on the content of this strategy, a roundtable discussion was held at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the topic of "harmony of Islamic jurisprudence and modern jurisprudence".

Leading experts of their fields, historians, philosophers, political scientists, sociologists, theologians, and Islamic scholars were involved in the roundtable discussion along with highly qualified lawyers.

In this roundtable discussion, the speakers gave detailed information about the attitude to gender equality in Islam, some issues related to the provision of women's rights and freedoms, the judicial system in Islamic jurisprudence, the specific aspects of protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens, and controlling the implementation of laws.

The experts also discussed how virtual threats in the form of religious statements affect the political stability of the society and how Eastern Muslim societies respond to modern secular norms.

The participants were given feedback, the students were given answers to their questions by experts, and the experts were given letters of appreciation from the academy leadership.
