A group of teachers from the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by Deputy Chief M.Mamasiddikov, visited the Customs Committee and got acquainted with the activities of the Customs Clearance Center, launched on August 29 of the current year.
The event was also attended by representatives of the National Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights, the University of Public Security, as well as the Chamber for the Protection of Copyrights of Art Workers, Creative Figures and Performers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Customs Clearance Center, established in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 27, 2022 No.UP-122 "On additional measures to further improve customs administration", is aimed at digital transformation of the sphere, improving the quality and speed of services.
The Center has a remote electronic declaration post, a data processing center, a call center, targeting and risk management departments.
The Center for Targeting and Risk Management has organized round-the-clock operational information exchange with the customs services of countries such as Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkmenistan.
The guests were greatly impressed by the Central Customs Laboratory, a new example of active cooperation between Uzbekistan and the World Customs Organization.
Such laboratories, which have received the status of a Regional Customs Laboratory of the World Customs Organization, exist only in 10 countries around the world.
The scientists gave their suggestions and recommendations on summarizing the achievements and experience gained in the field of customs with science, and the wide involvement of the practical experience of the system's employees in scientific research.
