Familiarization with the activities of the National Library under the President of Turkey

Representatives of the Law Enforcement Academy got acquainted with the activities of the National Library under the President of the Republic of Turkey within the framework of the International Symposium on the History of Turkic Law.

The National Library, which was inaugurated on February 22, 2020 in Ankara, can simultaneously serve 5,000 readers, the library area is 125 thousand square meters. meters.

The library's collection includes more than 4 million copies of books and printed materials, 45 million units of documents from the Ottoman archives, 300 thousand manuscripts, 550 thousand copies of electronic books of the National Academic Network and Information Center, 46 databases owned by the President, 6.5 million electronic abstracts, 120 million articles, 60 thousand electronic documents.

The library's "World Books" section contains, among other things, rare editions of Uzbekistan.

Representatives of the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan got acquainted with the library fund and presented their gifts to the library.
