A roundtable on the topic "Issues of applying the results of operational and investigative activities in the process of inquiry and investigation" was held at the Law Enforcement Academy.
The event was attended by the teaching staff of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Academy of the State Security Service, the Customs Institute, the Law Enforcement Academy, and research staff of the Research and Practical Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Also, the event included representatives from the operational units of the Bureau of Enforcement and the Department for Combating Economic Crimes at the General Prosecutor's Office.
During the event, the main problems arising from the application of the results of operational and investigative activities in the process of inquiry and investigation were discussed. Solutions to these problems, improvement of existing legislation regulating operational and investigative activities, enhancement of collaboration between operational units, inquiry and investigation authorities, and increasing the effectiveness of training sessions for the preparation and qualification improvement of operational units in combating economic crimes were addressed.
