Visit of the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan Antti Karttunen to the Law Enforcement Academy

On April 22 of this year, the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan Antti Karttunen visited the Law Enforcement Academy.

Within the framework of the visit, a training seminar on the topic was launched: "Collecting information from open sources and conducting online investigations", organized by the Academy together with the Office of the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan for employees of the prosecutor's Office and investigative bodies.

The training seminar is conducted by international experts with significant experience in the field of investigation of crimes committed using ICT.

Also during the visit, the guest got acquainted with the main activities of the Academy, the process of training prosecutorial and investigative personnel based on innovative methods and approaches, modern educational technologies used at the same time, infrastructure and conditions created for teachers and students, etc. At the same time, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation based on the priority issues on the agenda.

In general, the event was held in a constructive spirit, Ambassador Antti Karttunen noted the intention and willingness to expand cooperation with the Academy in conducting practical events and effective projects in the future, in areas of mutual interest.
