Events within the framework of the month of protection from emergencies and civil defense

A number of events have been organized at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the framework of the month of protection from emergencies and civil defense.

The main goal is to raise awareness among citizens and develop behavioral skills in various natural and man–made emergencies.

Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations demonstrated special tactical exercises that gave both students and staff of the Academy the opportunity to expand their knowledge, as well as improve practical skills.

Detailed explanations are also given regarding actions during natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes and avalanches. An important practical component of the measures was the development of the necessary skills for the correct assessment of the situation, the implementation of necessary actions to take security measures.

Practical exercises conducted using special equipment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations allowed participants to simulate their actions in emergency situations, including helping others.

During the active discussions, the responsible employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations answered the students' questions, which helped to strengthen the knowledge of the participants and contributed to improving the safety culture.

The events organized by the Academy together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations were an important step towards strengthening students' knowledge in the field of emergency protection and civil defense.
