Meeting with the Leadership of the Romanian Prosecutor's Office

As part of the visit of the Uzbek delegation consisting of representatives from the General Prosecutor's Office and the Law Enforcement Academy, a meeting was held with the First Deputy General Prosecutor of Romania, Mr. A. Valean, and the Advisor to the General Prosecutor, Mr. K. Popescu.

During the meeting, Mr. A. Valean provided information about the system of prosecutor's offices in Romania, the powers and duties of prosecutors, as well as the measures taken by the prosecutor's offices to prevent corruption.

In addition, Mr. K. Popescu provided detailed information about the work done based on the anti-corruption strategy developed for 2022-2025, as well as the methodology for assessing corruption risks.
