Conducting a Military-Sports Competition at the Academy

 

In order to strengthen the professional and physical training of students, promote a healthy lifestyle, and develop a sense of patriotism among them, a Military-Sports Competition was held among teams of 1st-year students at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The competition consisted of a military-sports relay and a tug-of-war competition.

During the military-sports relay, participants sequentially performed exercises such as partially disassembling and assembling the Kalashnikov rifle, covering a distance of 50 meters, partially disassembling and assembling the Makarov pistol, covering a distance of 50 meters, donning a gas mask and covering a distance of 50 meters, carrying a wounded person and covering a distance of 100 meters.

At the end of the competitions, the winners of the military-sports relay were recognized as follows: the team "A" of the "Investigative Activities" direction, taking 1st place; the team of the group with Russian-language instruction in the "Investigative Activities" direction, taking 2nd place; and the group with Russian-language instruction in the "Prosecutorial Activities" direction, taking 3rd place.

In the tug-of-war competition, the 1st place was taken by Group 2 "A" of the "Investigative Activities" direction, the 2nd place by Group 1 "A" of the "Investigative Activities" direction, and the 3rd place by Group 1 "P" of the "Prosecutorial Activities" direction.

The competitions took place in a friendly atmosphere, and the winners were duly awarded diplomas and trophies.

Sports events at the Academy are organized on a regular basis.
