A targeted professional development course for employees of the Specialized Prosecutor's Corps

As part of the implementation of tasks set by the Prosecutor General to ensure the close connection of the educational process with the professional activities of prosecutorial bodies, a professional development course on the topic "Ensuring the authority of the prosecutor in the consideration of criminal cases in higher instance courts" was organized for district (city) prosecutors and their assistants, as well as equivalent prosecutors of the Specialized Prosecutor's Corps.

This professional development course is organized in a blended learning format, which includes distance learning and in-class sessions, utilizing modern pedagogical and information-communication technologies.

During the training sessions, participants will explore the reforms in the judicial and legal system being carried out in our country, the legislative amendments being introduced, the necessity of improving the institution of judicial review, and the issues related to the execution of court decisions based on the analysis of legal requirements and materials from judicial-prosecutorial practices.

In the distance learning portion of the course, participants will independently study the educational materials posted on the Academy portal and complete practical assignments, which will be assessed electronically. The relevant professors of the Academy will regularly meet with the participants synchronously, hold discussions on the independently studied materials, and analyze the results of the independent study.

At the beginning of the course, participants were assigned to independently study relevant issues in judicial-prosecutorial practice and prepare for a presentation defense within the framework of a laboratory project based on the results of the course.
