Measures for Effective Organization of Psychological Support in Law Enforcement Activities

The Law Enforcement Academy is conducting systematic work on providing psychological support for law enforcement activities, offering moral and psychological assistance to prosecution officers and Academy students in the areas of psychodiagnostics, psychoprophylaxis, and psychocorrection.

The material and methodological resources of the Department of Professional Psychology and Managerial Activities are being consistently improved. Specifically, the Academy has introduced modern psychophysiological equipment—polygraphs manufactured in the United States and the Russian Federation.

Additionally, the Academy has implemented a special training program on the use of polygraph system capabilities in the psychophysiological laboratory and in investigative activities. Advanced international practices have demonstrated the effectiveness of these technologies in improving the quality of criminal investigations.

These measures will contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of crime prevention and combating crime, as well as ensuring public safety. The use of modern effective technologies helps to increase the knowledge and skills of future investigators, the qualifications of current employees, and the effectiveness of implementing decisions aimed at reducing the crime rate in our country.
