The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan announces a competition for the position of a Public Relations Specialist (a civil law contract is concluded for a specified period).

About the Academy: In accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 28, 2022, No. PF–257 “On the introduction of a qualitatively new system for training qualified personnel in the field of crime investigation,” the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established based on the Academy of the General Prosecutor’s Office.
Training, retraining, and advanced training of personnel in investigative and other areas of law enforcement activities have been identified as the main directions of the Academy's work. At the same time, ensuring the transparency and openness of the Academy's activities and informing the public about the processes taking place in educational and research spheres is of great importance.

In this regard, to cover the Academy’s activities in the media and create a strong public image of the institution, there is a need to attract a press service specialist to the Academy's public relations department on a contractual basis. If the candidate's documents are approved, a bilateral civil law contract will be concluded between the candidate and the Academy.

The specialist performs the following duties: Preparation of information in Uzbek, Russian, and English for covering the Academy’s activities through media outlets, the official website, social networks, and other information resources.

Organization of press conferences, briefings, and media tours related to the Academy’s activities.

Creating and promoting a positive image of the Academy, conducting social surveys, and studying public opinion in various forms.

Effective cooperation with media outlets, preparing information for prompt distribution within the pool of journalists and bloggers working with the Academy, and providing it to the head of the department.

Participation in the development of media plans and their implementation to cover the Academy’s activities and the promotion of human rights work.

Organizing regular media appearances for the Academy’s leadership.

Monitoring and analyzing the information space, participating in the preparation of materials in response to critical reports and information attacks.

Preparing information for coverage in foreign media and partner sites in cooperation with specialized departments.

Developing concepts, scripts, and participating in the creation of videos, shows, infographics, booklets, brochures, and other media products that fully reflect the Academy's activities.

Timely and high-quality execution of tasks assigned by the head of the public relations department, reporting on the work done.

Supporting the activities of the media club with the participation of Academy students.

Requirements for the candidate: The candidate must have a higher education degree in journalism or law.

Age: not younger than 25 and not older than 55 years (50 years for women).

At least 3 years of experience in the field of information services in legal services is required.

Must have skills in creating videos, writing articles, scripts, and more.

The candidate must possess necessary technical skills for working with computer programs (Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Audition, etc.).

The candidate must have exemplary personal qualities required for a specialist in prosecutorial bodies.

Duration of work: The work term is set for 6 months. If necessary, the person may be hired at the Academy under a labor contract based on their performance.

Payment terms: The amount of payment for completed work is determined by mutual agreement and is paid based on the results of the work performed.

Requirements: Responsibility, professionalism, initiative, ability to work harmoniously in a team, timely and high-quality task execution.

Work schedule: From 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 40 hours per week, 5 days a week.

Applicants must personally visit the Academy's HR department with a passport or identity card and present the relevant documents (identity card, lenses, higher education diploma with attachments, employment record book copy, STIR, PINFL certificate). An interview may be conducted with the applicant if necessary.
