The Public Relations Department of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan announces a selection for the position of Operator-Editor (on a civil-law contract for a fixed period).
About the Academy; Based on the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PD-257 "On the Introduction of a New System of Training Qualified Personnel in the Field of Criminal Investigation" dated November 28, 2022, the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established on the basis of the Prosecutor General's Academy.
The Academy operates transparently. In this regard, to shape the image of the institution and demonstrate its initiative in the large-scale reforms being implemented in the country, there is a need to attract a specialist on a temporary basis to the Public Relations Department of the Academy for the position of Operator-Editor. If the submitted documents are approved, a two-party civil-law contract will be signed between the specialist and the Academy.
The Operator-Editor will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Work in the Academy's Public Relations Department and report directly to the Department Head.
- Create high-quality media content through filming, editing, and processing video and photo materials of the educational and scientific processes at the Academy.
- Produce promotional videos, image-building videos, presentation videos, interviews, shows, podcasts, and social videos in relevant areas that serve to enhance the Academy’s image.
- Ensure the high-quality photo and video recording of events at the Academy, process the materials, and create finished media content.
- Archive, store, and ensure the security of photo, video, and other media products.
- Complete assignments from the Head of the Public Relations Department within the set deadlines and report on the work completed.
- Assist in the activities of the Academy's media club.
Requirements for candidates:
- Higher (or incomplete higher), secondary (or secondary-special) education.
- Must be between 18 and 40 years old.
- Experience in the field of video recording and editing is an advantage.
- Skills in working with modern equipment and programs related to the field.
- Possess exemplary personal qualities suitable for a specialist involved with the Prosecutor's Office.
Work duration: The work period is set for 6 months, and depending on the necessity, the candidate may later be employed under a labor contract with the Academy.
Payment: The payment amount will be determined by mutual agreement between the parties and paid to the candidate based on the results of the completed work.
Skills required: Responsibility, professionalism, initiative, teamwork, and timely and high-quality completion of assigned tasks.
Working hours: From 09:00 to 18:00, a 40-hour work week, 5 days a week.
The candidate must personally apply to the Academy's Personnel Department with a civil passport or ID card and submit the necessary documents (identity document, resume, educational diploma and its appendix, a copy of the labor record book, taxpayer identification number (TIN), and social security personal identification number (PINFL)). After reviewing the submitted documents, if necessary, an interview will be conducted with the candidate in the presence of a commission.
