Visit of Academy Students to the Gafur Gulom House-Museum: A Meeting with Poetry and History


A group of students from the Academy, as part of the “Onajonim She'riyat” circle of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, visited the Gafur Gulom House-Museum. The museum director and the poet’s daughter, Olmos Akhmedova, shared interesting details about the history of the museum's founding and her father, the renowned poet Gafur Gulom.

The visit continued with a poetry recital, giving students the opportunity to showcase their creative works. Following this, one of the Academy students provided a detailed account of the writing history of Gafur Gulom’s famous poem “Men Yahudiyim,” leaving a strong impression on all participants.

This visit offered students a chance to learn more about the life and work of the poet Gafur Gulom and deepen their connection with poetry.
