Training sessions for a professional retraining course in the form of initial specialization are being held at the Law Enforcement Academy for employees newly hired into the prosecution service.
The professional retraining course is aimed at teaching the fundamentals of prosecutorial-investigative work and the organization of record-keeping within prosecution bodies. It is organized in a blended learning format, consisting of both remote (electronic) learning and traditional in-person education at the Academy.
The course program focuses on developing both professional skills related to prosecutorial-investigative work and the organization of activities within prosecution bodies, as well as general skills. Special attention is given to the pressing issues of prosecutorial-investigative work and the development of organizational skills.
Course participants study topics such as prosecutorial supervision over law enforcement, pressing issues in criminal law and procedure, ensuring prosecutorial authority in judicial proceedings, organization of work within prosecution bodies, handling appeals and record-keeping, international human rights standards, professional ethics, speech culture, psychological competence of employees, and other related modules.
The final part of the professional retraining course is conducted in-person at the Academy. During this stage, knowledge and skills acquired remotely are reinforced, and participants take a final examination, after which they receive a diploma in professional retraining.
