The Academy actively implements a project management system in its activities, with projects on relevant topics being carried out with the involvement of leading experts from various fields.
From August to October of this year, the Academy, in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency, implemented a pilot “Safe Region” project in the Yunusabad district and the city of Yangiyul, with the participation of Japanese experts. The main goal of the project was to collect information on road traffic accidents and traffic violations by vehicles, as well as to engage citizens in the process, thereby contributing to road safety.
As part of the project, Road Safety Service employees conducted a comparative analysis of the road traffic situation in these areas, which allowed them to identify key problem zones and develop measures to improve road safety.
At the final stage of the project, a ceremony was held to honor the most active participants who made a significant contribution to the initiative's implementation. Awards were presented to citizens who showed particular interest and involvement in identifying violations and proposing potential solutions to improve road conditions.
The “Safe Region” project demonstrated the effectiveness of cooperation between citizens and government agencies in ensuring public safety and highlighted the importance of joint efforts to reduce road traffic accidents.
