“Book – My Friend” Republican Contest Held at the Higher Education Institution Stage

At the Law Enforcement Academy, the higher education institution stage of the republican contest “Book – My Friend,” organized among higher education students at the initiative of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations, was conducted.

The contest aimed to enhance students’ knowledge, skills, and interest in reading and was assessed based on three main directions.

Specifically, in the “Knowledgeable Library” category, participants completed test assignments to showcase their general knowledge and reading abilities.

In the “Annotation Skills” category, students wrote a brief annotation of a book they liked, demonstrating their analytical skills and literary appreciation.

In the “Promoting Reading Culture” category, participants exhibited their creative approaches to promoting the culture of reading and literacy.

At the end of the contest, first-year bachelor’s student M. Ismoilov was recommended for the regional selection stage.

This contest serves to increase interest in books among the youth and enhances their intellectual potential.
