A spiritual and educational event on the issues of developing a culture of information consumption was held

At the Law Enforcement Academy, a spiritual and educational event was organized focusing on the guarantees of the right to access information as defined in the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as on the development of a culture of information consumption and the effective use of the internet.

Developing a culture of efficient and proper internet use, conveying its social, moral, and cultural significance to young people is an important issue. This event was organized to enhance students’ knowledge and skills in the proper use of internet resources, protect them from negative phenomena online, and raise awareness regarding information security.

The event was attended by national experts, field specialists, teachers, and students.

During the event, participants were provided with information on internet use culture, the etiquette of behavior on social networks, the importance of information security, and the protection of personal data. Additionally, advice on distinguishing between virtual and real life and on the correct use of online information sources was given.

Proposals regarding the initiation of the “Future Cyber Prosecutors Corps” among students were also discussed.

At the end of the event, participants were given special recommendations and reminders on the proper use of the internet. The event’s organization was considered an important step toward forming a culture of rational internet use.
