On November 20th of this year, a delegation from the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation, led by General Prosecutor I.V. Krasnov, visited the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
During the visit, the delegation was thoroughly briefed on the structure and main areas of activity of the Academy, as well as the system for training, retraining, and professional development of prosecutors and investigators.
Additionally, the delegation familiarized themselves with the Academy’s modern educational infrastructure aimed at developing practical skills, the technologies and methods used in the educational process, the activities of the Academy’s Digital Forensics Research Institute, and the Virtual Academy for Anti-Corruption. The guests also visited the legal clinic, specialized training rooms for practical and simulation exercises, including forensic training grounds, laboratories, a courtroom simulation hall, and the information-resource center.
The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere. The Academy’s activities, based on the integration of science, education, and practice, sparked great interest among the guests. Both sides agreed to expand cooperation in the area of training, retraining, and professional development of prosecutorial personnel.
As part of the visit, representatives of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation delivered a series of lectures for the Academy's trainees.
The lectures addressed several pressing issues, including the coordinating role of the prosecution in uniting efforts of various agencies to combat digital crimes, key aspects, mechanisms, and legal tools for international cooperation in asset recovery, and ensuring effective interaction on the international stage.
At the end of the course, certificates were awarded to the participants.
