Holding an international round table “Best practices in cybercrime investigation”


At the Law Enforcement Academy, as part of the international scientific and practical conference on the topic: “Global Challenges and Threats in Law Enforcement: Modern Strategies and Solutions”, an international round table was organized on the topic: “Best Practices in Cybercrime Investigation”.

The event was attended by leading experts from the Main Directorate of Digital Development of Preliminary Investigations of the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Main Directorate of Criminalistics of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Interpol, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State University of Law, as well as faculty members, trainees, and students of the Law Enforcement Academy.

During the round table, reports were presented on combating the criminal activities of transnational organized SCAM groups, crimes committed on the Darknet related to the illegal drug trade, cyber fraud, and the activities of cryptocurrency exchanges operating without a license.

The event included a lively discussion format, an exchange of advanced experiences, and an analysis of national and foreign legislation, as well as law enforcement practices in the field of combating cybercrime.
