The Research Institute of Digital Forensics of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan (hereinafter referred to as the Academy) announces a competition for the position of programmer under a fixed-term civil law contract.
About the Academy:
In accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of
Uzbekistan No. PF-257 dated November 28, 2022, "On the Implementation of a New System for Training Qualified Personnel in Crime Investigation," the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established based on the General Prosecutor's Office Academy.
Additionally, as per Presidential Resolution No. PP-229 dated June 21, 2024, the Research Institute of Digital Forensics was created to perform various tasks and functions. The institute consists of specialized divisions, including the Specialized Digital Research Center, the Digital Investigation Support Department, the Methodological Assistance Department, and the Digital Forensics Laboratory.
Currently, the institute seeks to engage a programmer under a contract basis for the Digital Forensics Laboratory. Upon approval of the submitted documents, the candidate will sign a civil law contract.
Programmer Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C#, JavaScript, and other modern languages.
- Development using web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Node.js, or Python (Django, Flask).
- Working with databases (SQL, NoSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Expertise in back-end technologies, including server-side programming and frameworks like RESTful API, GraphQL, Node.js, Django, Flask.
- Ensuring code quality, readability, and proper documentation.
- Writing unit, integration, and system tests; automating testing processes; and maintaining continuous quality control.
- Utilizing advanced debugging tools to identify and fix code issues.
- Ensuring cryptographic and data security, including understanding authentication and authorization systems.
- Securing web applications against vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, XSS, CSRF).
- Configuring servers and network parameters, managing web servers (Apache, Nginx).
- Developing the official website of the Research Institute of Digital Forensics.
- Creating software for analyzing multimedia systems of electric vehicles as part of unique research in Uzbekistan.
Candidate Requirements:
- Higher education in a field related to web development.
- Age: 24 to 55 years.
- No restrictions on creating and maintaining websites or platforms in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- Responsibility, independence, and the ability to work autonomously.
The competition for the programmer vacancy will be conducted following the Academy's internal regulations, and the employment will be formalized by an official order from the Academy’s head.
Project Duration: 2 months.
Payment: Determined by mutual agreement and paid upon completion of the work.
Requirements: Initiative, teamwork skills, and timely task completion.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week.
