Scientific and creative competitions among prosecutors continue

In accordance with the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 31, 2023, No. PP–170, “On additional measures to enhance the moral and intellectual potential of prosecutors in ensuring the rule of law in the country and strengthening cooperation with the population”, a meeting of the commission for evaluating the final results of scientific and creative competitions among prosecutors was held at the Academy.

The meeting was attended by specialists from the General Prosecutor's Office, the Law Enforcement Academy, the Chairperson of the Expert Council on Jurisprudence under the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, the Higher School of Judges under the Supreme Judicial Council, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and Tashkent State University of Law.

During the session, materials from 56 competition participants were reviewed in categories such as “Best scientific article published in domestic journals”, “Best scientific article published in international scientific journals”, and “Most active promoter of law”. Corresponding working groups were formed to evaluate these submissions.

Moreover, considering that the main goal of these competitions is to enhance the moral and intellectual potential of prosecutors in ensuring the rule of law in the country, the commission members offered suggestions and recommendations to expand the participation of employees in similar initiatives.
