A scientific-practical conference on the topic "Combating Fraud and Theft Crimes Committed Using Information Technology: Problems and Solutions" was organized by the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, at the Fergana Regional Department of Internal Affairs.
In addition to the above-mentioned organizations, the conference was attended by investigators and investigators from the Investigation Department of the Fergana Regional Internal Affairs Directorate, responsible staff from the Fergana Regional Prosecutor’s Office, representatives from the Cybersecurity Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Expert-Criminalistics Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Department for Investigating Crimes in the Field of Information Technology at the Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and representatives from the Fergana Regional Branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies (TATU).
The conference featured presentations by M. Mamasiddikov, Deputy Head of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, G. Musaev, Head of the Scientific Research Institute of Digital Criminalistics at the Academy, and B. Kudratov, Head of the Institute's Department.
During the conference, experts shared effective solutions and positive experiences in combating crimes committed using information and communication technologies. Furthermore, the participants agreed to strengthen inter-agency cooperation in ensuring cybersecurity.
