Representatives of the Law Enforcement Academy completed an internship at Lund University in Sweden as part of the project “Central Asian law: legal culture and business environment in Central Asia".
During the internship, Academy staff familiarized themselves with the system of teaching and conducting scientific research at Lund University, organized academic meetings with leading professors and faculty members of the university, and gained valuable experience.
They also participated in the seminar “Integration of digital technologies to improve communication between teachers and students,” organized by the department of Sociology of law at Lund University, and delivered presentations on the topics of their dissertation research.
During the internship, senior lecturers of the Academy, D. Ibragimov and O. Nematillaev, conducted studies on court cases related to child custody disputes, as well as on improving legal mechanisms for anti-corruption examination of current legislation.
As a result of the internship, scientific articles have been prepared and are planned for publication in high-ranking international academic journals.
Collaboration between the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Lund University in Sweden continues.
