On the training of employees of the prosecutor's office and investigative bodies the US experience was studied

In order to study and implement foreign experience in the training, retraining, and professional development of staff in the prosecutor’s office and investigative bodies based on modern requirements, a study visit to the USA was organized for representatives of the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This visit was organized as part of the “Increasing the Capacity of the Law Enforcement Academy in Implementing Effective Educational Programs in the Field of Crime Detection and Investigation” project, under the U.S. International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP).

During the visit, representatives of the Academy had the opportunity to closely study the activities of U.S. law enforcement agencies, as well as the experience, educational processes, training, retraining, and professional development programs at universities, institutions, centers, and relevant agencies. They were also able to explore the conditions and infrastructure created for this purpose.

Specifically, during the trip, they visited Washington, St. Louis, Pensacola, Boston, and New York, where they learned about the work of courts, prosecutors, police, the bar, law enforcement agencies' departments, forensic and expert centers, authorities, and the National Association for the Professional Development of Prosecutor Staff. They also studied the activities of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Cybercrime Department, the U.S. Department of Justice’s programs for prosecutor staff training and assistance, and exchanged experiences on enhancing the knowledge, skills, and abilities of law enforcement staff, taking into account new challenges in the fight against crime.

Additionally, meetings were organized for Academy representatives at prestigious institutions such as the University of Washington, Boston Law School, Boston Police Academy, Northeastern University, Webster University, and John Jay College of Criminal Justice at the City University of New York. Agreements were reached on mutual cooperation in the field of education.
