A scientific seminar on the topic “Requirements for modern scientific research” was held


As part of the regular “Scientific Hour” at the Academy, a scientific seminar was held on the topic: “Requirements for modern scientific research”. The seminar was conducted by an expert from the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Professor of the department of civil law disciplines at the University of Public Security of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Law, Professor Ruziyev Rustam Jabbarovich.

The purpose of the event was to facilitate the organization of scientific research activities in accordance with international standards and to improve the quality and efficiency of scientific research in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by faculty members of the Academy, the Higher School of Judges, the Institute of State and Law, Tashkent State University of Law, the National Center for Human Rights, the University of Public Security, the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and other higher educational and research institutions, as well as doctoral candidates and industry specialists.

During the seminar, Professor Ruziyev introduced the participants to international and national requirements for modern scientific research. He addressed aspects such as the methodology for preparing scientific works, ways to enhance their scientific and practical significance, and discussed issues related to scientific ethics.

Additionally, Professors O. Okyulov, F. Otakhanov, Kh. Isanov, and M. Mamasiddikov, who participated in the seminar, touched on current issues related to the use of artificial intelligence in scientific activities. They highlighted its advantages in improving research efficiency, expanding access to information, saving time, and identifying the strengths and weaknesses of scientific works. However, they also pointed out challenges such as breaches of confidentiality and copyright, data reliability, and non-compliance with standards of scientific ethics and academic integrity.

Participants received answers to their questions and practical recommendations during the event.

In conclusion, Professor Ruziyev emphasized the importance of thorough planning, the use of modern information technologies, and the application of innovative approaches for the successful conduct of scientific research. He noted that the “Scientific Hour” format, implemented at the Academy, is highly regarded by the scientific community as a factor contributing to the development of essential skills among researchers and serving as an effective scientific platform for researchers from various legal educational and research institutions.
