At the Law Enforcement Academy, a professional development course for customs investigators has been launched on the topic “Issues of organizing and conducting inquiries in customs authorities”.
The course program includes topics such as the specifics of investigating crimes related to violations of customs legislation, the procedure for appointing and conducting audits, the use of operational-search activities in criminal proceedings, methods for investigating crimes related to smuggling, crimes committed in the deep and hidden segments of the Internet (Darknet), challenges in conducting preliminary investigations by customs authorities, and more.
The professional development course is aimed at enhancing the professional knowledge and skills of participants regarding the content and essence of recent amendments and additions to the criminal procedure legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, crimes in the field of foreign economic activity, the practical use of open-source intelligence (OSINT) from public databases and resources, and the socio-economic and legal foundations of crime prevention and control.
