The Law Enforcement Academy organized a spiritual and educational event marking the 150th anniversary of the outstanding educator, thinker, and one of the founders of Jadidism in Central Asia, Mahmudkhoja Behbudi. The event was attended by representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office, Academy staff, and undergraduate students.
Mahmudkhoja Behbudi has become a symbol of the aspiration for enlightenment and social progress. His ideas on educational reforms, cultural development, and raising legal awareness among citizens remain relevant today.
Speakers from the General Prosecutor's Office and the Law Enforcement Academy emphasized the importance of Behbudi's legacy in shaping legal culture and nurturing a new generation. They highlighted key moments of the great educator’s biography and his contributions to societal development. Special attention was paid to fostering in students a sense of responsibility for the legal future of the country.
It was noted that Mahmudkhoja Behbudi’s ideas, aimed at creating a just and enlightened society, are reflected in modern approaches to legal education.
As part of the event, a documentary film about the life and work of Mahmudkhoja Behbudi was screened.
At the conclusion of the event, students of the Law Enforcement Academy and staff of the Prosecutor’s Office participated in a discussion on the relevance of Behbudi’s ideas in the context of modern challenges faced by the justice system and education.
The event became a vivid example of the collaboration between educational and law enforcement institutions in preserving historical memory, strengthening legal consciousness, and promoting national values.
