The analysis of crimes by type, along with methodological and consultative support for activities aimed at crime prevention and combating criminal activity, is one of the main areas of focus for the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
In this regard, the Academy is conducting systematic work, including visits to the regions.
To implement Resolution No. PP-1 “On measures to create a safe environment and further enhance the efficiency of the system for early crime prevention in neighborhoods of the republic in 2025”, a group of staff from the Law Enforcement Academy, led by the First Deputy Head of the Academy, E.V. Kolenko, conducted a working visit to the Kashkadarya region.
At the local level, efforts were made to explain the essence and content of this resolution with the participation of law enforcement officials, the “Neighborhood Seven”, and representatives of the public.
Academy representatives, as part of working groups, studied the criminogenic situation in the region using scientific approaches. They worked on identifying the causes, factors, and conditions that contribute to crimes in neighborhoods. The working group also reviewed the ongoing efforts in the Kashkadarya region to combat crime, prevent offenses, maintain public order, and ensure community peace.
Based on the findings from the region, preliminary results were prepared. Upon completion of the analysis, recommendations and proposals will be developed to improve the efficiency of the early crime prevention system in mahallas, enhance interagency collaboration, and integrate the results of academic and scientific research into practice.
