An event dedicated to the 584th anniversary of the birth of the great poet and thinker Alisher Navoi was held at the Academy

A festive event was held at the Academy to commemorate the 584th anniversary of the birth of the great thinker and prominent representative of our classical literature, Mir Alisher Navoi.

The guests of the event, Shukurullaev Sarvar Anvarovich, an employee of the Tashkent University of information technologies named after Muhammad Al-Khwarizmi, along with deputy deans for youth affairs, Mominov Sanjar Saidkulovich and Norbekov Sukhrob Farhod ogli, held a meeting with students about the life and works of Alisher Navoi.

During the event, a poetic contest called “bahru bayt” was held, featuring students who had memorized ghazals and rubaiyat by Navoi, based on the results, the winners were duly recognized and awarded.
