A special seminar was organized at the Academy for regional prosecutors

A training and practical seminar was organized at the Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of prosecutors from the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the city of Tashkent, and the regions. The seminar aimed to enhance knowledge and skills in combating crime and corruption, preventing offenses at the mahalla level, ensuring energy security, and suppressing illegal activities in the social sphere.

During the event, comprehensive discussions were held on analyzing crime, developing scientifically grounded proposals for crime prevention, and implementing them in practice.

Additionally, the event included an exchange of views on establishing a robust legal framework to effectively combat new, digital forms of corruption, including cyber corruption.

Furthermore, prosecutors were introduced to the educational programs implemented at the Academy for training, retraining, and enhancing the qualifications of law enforcement personnel. They were also familiarized with the modern educational infrastructure, which enables the conduct of practical and simulation-based training sessions, including the cyber laboratory, forensic training ground, forensic laboratory, and mock trial room.

At the conclusion of the event, participants were presented with an overview of the activities of the Digital Forensics Research Institute established at the Academy.
