The Law Enforcement Academy conducts training sessions for a professional retraining course for employees newly appointed to the prosecution service in the form of primary specialization.
The professional retraining course is aimed at teaching the fundamentals of prosecutorial and investigative work and the organization of document management in the prosecutor's office. It is conducted in a blended format, combining remote (electronic) learning and in-person training at the Academy.
The course program focuses on developing both professional skills related to current issues in prosecutorial and investigative work and the organization of the prosecutor's office, as well as enhancing cross-functional (soft) skills.
Course participants will master topics within various modules, including prosecutorial supervision over the implementation of laws, current issues in criminal law and procedure, ensuring prosecutorial powers in judicial proceedings, organization of work in the prosecutor's office, handling appeals and document management, international human rights standards, professional ethics, speech culture, psychological competence of employees, and others.
The training is conducted in a practical format, focusing on developing the ability to apply theoretical knowledge in practice and acquire practical skills related to drafting procedural documents.
The final stage of the professional retraining course takes place in person at the Academy. During this phase, participants reinforce the knowledge and skills acquired through remote learning while continuing their professional duties. They undergo a final examination and receive a professional retraining diploma.
