The Law Enforcement Academy is actively working on the digitalization of all spheres of its activities, including the educational process. This includes the development of class schedules, conducting examinations, evaluating students, and forming their academic rankings.
As part of this initiative, the Academy has introduced a unique, innovative electronic platform for the comprehensive assessment of students’ and trainees’ ratings. This platform, which has no equivalent in the country, is designed to improve the quality of the educational process, enhance students' knowledge and skills, boost their motivation, and ensure the full implementation of the Academy’s objectives.
The electronic platform evaluates students and trainees based on 11 criteria, including their academic performance, research activities, proficiency in foreign languages, participation in sports and cultural-educational events, engagement in academic clubs, involvement in media and other activities, records of incentives and disciplinary actions, as well as internships in law enforcement agencies.
A key feature of the new platform is its flexibility in adjusting evaluation criteria depending on the educational process and the personnel needs of investigative, inquiry, and prosecutorial bodies.
Additionally, the platform eliminates human subjectivity by automatically generating a “Portfolio” for each student and trainee, starting from their admission to the Academy and continuing throughout their professional career.
The ranking results are transparent and available for continuous review by students and trainees, and, if they choose, by their parents. The system also provides both material and non-material incentives for those who demonstrate outstanding performance.
The implementation of this platform plays a crucial role in developing the professional competencies of future law enforcement personnel, contributing to the training of highly qualified specialists for the country’s law enforcement system.
