At the Law Enforcement Academy, a training seminar was held for the first deputies of the prosecutors of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the city of Tashkent, and the regions. The seminar aimed to enhance knowledge and skills in combating crime and corruption, early crime prevention in mahallas, ensuring energy security, and addressing illegal activities in the social sphere.
During the seminar, participants discussed the analysis of the criminogenic situation in crime prevention, the development of scientifically grounded proposals for crime prevention and their practical implementation, the creation of a safe environment in mahallas, and improving the effectiveness of the early crime prevention system.
Additionally, the event featured an exchange of views on establishing a solid legal framework for effectively addressing pressing issues in criminal law, as well as new digital forms of corruption, including cyber corruption.
The participants were introduced to a presentation on the activities of the Institute of Digital Forensics, established at the Academy.
Additionally, the Academy’s educational programs for the training, retraining, and professional development of law enforcement personnel, as well as its modern educational infrastructure including a cyber laboratory, forensic training ground, forensic laboratory, courtroom simulation hall, and other practical and simulation-based training facilities sparked great interest among the prosecutors.
As part of the seminar, participants also familiarized themselves with the capabilities of the Situational center of the Tashkent City Police Department, the Operational management center of the Tashkent Regional Police Department, and the activities of the mahalla law and Order center in the Urtachirchik district of the Tashkent region.
