Another outreach event aimed at raising youth awareness in the field of anti-corruption

One of the priority areas of activity of the Virtual anti-corruption academy is increasing legal awareness and legal culture among the population and civil servants, fostering a legal immunity to corruption in society, and instilling the values of integrity in the minds of the younger generation.

In this regard, the head of the Scientific-educational center for anti-corruption of the Academy, Kh. Tursunbekov, conducted a seminar-training for responsible employees of the department of preschool and school education of the Kashkadarya region, as well as representatives of educational institutions. The session focused on the effective use of educational materials available on the Virtual academy platform for pupils and students of educational organizations.

As part of the event, participants were provided with detailed information about the Virtual academy platform, the special training course “Combating corruption” developed for preschool children and general school students, as well as the procedure for using educational materials within the frameworks of the “Ilk Qadam” (“First Step”) program and the subjects “Upbringing” and “Fundamentals of state and law”.

During the event, participants shared their opinions and suggestions aimed at expanding the use of the Virtual academy’s resources to instill the values of honesty in the minds of the younger generation.

To this end, the Academy, in cooperation with the anti-corruption agency, the Ministry of preschool and school education, and the Ministry of higher education, science and innovation, has developed educational materials for placement on the Virtual academy platform. These materials are intended for preschoolers, school students, and university students in educational institutions.

Additionally, in order to enhance youth skills in utilizing the resources of the Virtual academy, the head of the Scientific-educational center for anti-corruption of the Academy, Kh. Tursunbekov, conducted a seminar at Karshi state university with the participation of faculty members and students.

During the event, participants were provided with detailed information about the Virtual academy platform, the special training course “Combating corruption” designed for university students, as well as the rules for using educational programs and materials.

The seminar sparked great interest among students in the Virtual academy and provided an opportunity for participants to ask the Academy representative relevant questions on the topic and receive informative answers.
