At the Law Enforcement Academy, an advanced training course titled "Pressing Issues of Ensuring Prosecutorial Supervision over the Implementation of Social and Economic Legislation" was held for employees of the relevant branches of regional and equivalent-level prosecutor’s offices, as well as sectoral assistants of district (city) prosecutors.
The course was organized in a blended learning format. Participants received distance education without interrupting their work and then attended in-person sessions at the Academy to consolidate the acquired knowledge.
Within the framework of the course program, the Academy’s professors conducted training sessions focused on effectively implementing the planned measures to ensure impactful prosecutorial supervision over the enforcement of legislation in the social and economic spheres at the local level. The sessions also addressed key issues that should be considered during supervisory activities, the lawful resolution of identified systemic problems, prevention of conflicts of interest when making decisions based on supervisory outcomes, and other relevant professional competencies and management skills. Additionally, updates in the legislation were covered during the sessions.
At the end of the course, participants took a final exam in the form of a discussion of proposals developed regarding the legislation.
