The Law enforcement academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established in accordance with Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 28, 2022, “On the introduction of a qualitatively new system for training qualified personnel in the field of crime investigation”.
As part of the project management system implemented at the Academy, the international project “Road Safety” is currently being carried out. In this regard, there is a need to engage a specialist on a temporary basis to perform the duties of a project coordinator under a civil law contract.
If the submitted documents are approved, a bilateral civil law contract will be concluded between the candidate and the Law enforcement academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The project coordinator will be responsible for performing the following tasks:
Developing the project plan and overseeing its implementation;
Organizing interaction among project participants;
Maintaining project documentation and reporting;
Continuously monitoring deadlines, resources, and the quality of project activities;
Identifying and promptly resolving issues arising during project implementation;
Preparing and submitting regular progress reports on the project;
Organizing and conducting working meetings, consultations, and online sessions;Establishing and maintaining effective communication with project participants and partners;
Ensuring compliance with international standards, donor requirements, and legal regulations;
Preparing informational and analytical materials based on project outcomes;
Participating in monitoring and evaluation activities to assess project effectiveness;
Organizing events (press conferences, presentations, etc.) to ensure information support for the project in coordination with the Academy's public relations department;
Preparing press releases, informational materials, and interviews, and submitting them to the Academy’s public relations department.
Candidate Requirements:
Higher education (in the fields of international relations, management, law, economics, social sciences, or other relevant areas);
At least 3 years of experience working on international projects;
Knowledge and practical skills in project management (planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, analytics);
Fluent in Uzbek, Russian, and English (both spoken and written – minimum level C1); knowledge of other foreign languages is an advantage;
Proficient in information and communication technologies (MS Office, email, online platforms, Excel, report preparation);
Strong organizational skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, and manage team operations;
Well-developed written and oral communication skills, logical thinking, and experience in preparing reports and official correspondence;
Responsibility, initiative, and ability to make independent decisions;
Willingness to engage in intercultural communication and work effectively with representatives of different nationalities;
Ability to work in a team, and adherence to personal and professional discipline.
Additional Conditions:
Duration of employment – 6 (six) months. If necessary, further employment under a labor contract is possible;
Salary will be determined by mutual agreement of the parties;
Working hours – 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (40-hour workweek);
Workplace – the building of the Academy.

The candidate must personally visit the human resources department of the Academy and submit the following documents: an identity document (passport or ID card), a resume (CV), a diploma of higher education along with the transcript, a copy of the employment record book, and the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN, also known as STIR).
Based on the review of the submitted documents, if necessary, the candidate will be invited for an interview with the participation of the selection committee.
