The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan announces a selection process for the position of Specialist in International University Rankings (Temporary position under contract)

Currently, the Academy is in need of a specialist to work with international university rankings. Upon approval of the documents submitted by the candidate, a bilateral civil contract will be signed between the specialist and the Academy.

Responsibilities of the Specialist:

Under the instructions of the Academy's leadership, the specialist will provide services related to the implementation of projects in accordance with the contract and the work schedule (hereinafter referred to as “services”), including:

–  Ensuring the implementation of tasks and instructions related to the Academy’s entry into international university rankings;

–   Developing proposals for the Academy’s inclusion in international rankings;

– Studying evaluation criteria of internationally recognized rankings such as:
Times Higher Education (THE), Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings (QS), GreenMetric, Webometrics, Academic Ranking of World Universities, and tracking all updates;

–    Ensuring the Academy’s registration and presence on international ranking platforms (QS, Webometrics);

–  Determining the range of information related to the Academy, collecting data from its structural divisions, organizing and uploading this information onto relevant platforms;

– Monitoring the implementation of tasks and activities related to entering international rankings;

– Developing policy documentation (goals and objectives) on sustainable development and other related areas, including their revision and supplementation according to the requirements of international rankings;

– Preparing documentation and information across all areas of the Academy’s activity, including statistical and financial indicators, as well as management practices and (annual) sustainability reports according to international standards, and publishing them on the Academy's website;

–  Organizing and implementing events related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs);

–  Collaborating with the Academy’s departments to provide information and reports in line with international ranking standards and offering suggestions for improving the Academy’s website;

– Consolidating and analyzing performance indicators and data related to the Academy’s activities and taking measures to improve relevant metrics;

– Conducting training courses and seminars for Academy staff on international rankings.

Candidate Requirements:

– Experience in working with international university rankings;

– Relevant certification in the field;

– Proficiency in Russian, Uzbek, and English.

Contract Duration:

The duration of the contract is set for three (3) months. If necessary, the contract may be extended, or the specialist may be offered a permanent position under a labor contract.

Compensation:

The payment amount will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be based on the results of the candidate’s work.

Additional Requirements:
Initiative, ability to work in a team, timely completion of tasks.

Working Hours:
5 days a week, 40 hours per week.

Application Process:

The candidate must personally visit the Academy’s HR department with a passport or ID card and submit the following documents:

– Identification document;

– Resume (CV);

– University diploma and transcript;

– Copy of the employment record book;

–   Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) certificate.

After reviewing the submitted documents, if necessary, the candidate may be invited for an interview conducted by a special commission.
