At the Law Enforcement Academy, the training sessions of the professional retraining course in the form of primary specialization for employees newly appointed to the prosecution service have been completed.
The professional retraining course was aimed at providing instruction in the fundamentals of prosecutorial and investigative activities, as well as the organization of office work within the prosecution bodies. The course was conducted in a blended learning format, combining distance (electronic) learning with in-person training at the Academy.
The program focused not only on developing professional skills related to current issues of prosecutorial and investigative activities and the organization of office work in the prosecution bodies, but also on enhancing general competencies.
The course participants studied topics related to prosecutorial supervision over the enforcement of laws, pressing issues of criminal law and procedure, the exercise of prosecutorial powers in judicial proceedings, organization of work within the prosecution bodies, handling of appeals and office management, international human rights standards, professional ethics, speech culture, psychological competence of employees, and other related areas.
The final stage of the professional retraining course took place directly at the Academy in a full-time format, where the knowledge and skills acquired through distance learning were consolidated. Participants who successfully passed the final assessment received diplomas of professional retraining.
