The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan carries out its activities based on the principles of openness and transparency. The Academy’s official website and social media pages are updated daily with news, official announcements, photos, and videos reflecting key events in the life of the Academy.
With the active participation of students, the Academy has established a Media Club, which produces media content dedicated to the Academy’s activities and current legal topics.
This initiative aims to implement one of the five fundamental principles of prosecutorial activity - the principle of publicity, enshrined in national legislation and to enhance the media literacy of future law enforcement officers, developing their knowledge and skills in public communication and interaction with the media.
The latest session of the Media Club was held in an extended format, bringing together both current members and first-year bachelor’s students.
The purpose of the meeting was to help newcomers understand the importance of information transparency and accountability in the activities of the prosecution and law enforcement bodies, as well as to engage interested and talented students in the work of the Media Club.
During the event, a presentation was held on the activities of the Academy’s “Media league”, which brings together active and creatively minded students. The league is designed to engage young people in areas related to press service work, photo and video production, design, and media content creation.
Participation in the media club provides students with the opportunity to take an active role in covering the life and activities of the Academy, to develop their creative abilities and communication skills, and to lead a vibrant and engaging student life.
The meeting was conducted in an interactive format. Students and organizers exchanged views on the importance of modern communication in strengthening public trust and enhancing the transparency of state institutions, as well as discussed ways to further expand the media club’s activities.
At the end of the event, new members were registered to join the media club. The students expressed their enthusiasm and willingness to actively participate in creating informational and social materials about the Academy’s life.
Such initiatives contribute to the development of media literacy, civic engagement, and professional ethics among future lawyers.
