At the Law enforcement academy, training sessions of the regular professional retraining course in the form of primary specialization for employees newly appointed to the prosecution service have been completed.
The professional retraining course was aimed at providing knowledge of the fundamentals of prosecutorial and investigative activities, as well as the organization of clerical work within the prosecution authorities. The course was conducted in a blended learning format, combining distance (electronic) instruction with in-person classes at the Academy.
The curriculum focused not only on professional competencies related to current issues of prosecutorial and investigative work and the organization of office procedures but also on the development of general professional skills.
Participants of the course studied topics concerning prosecutorial supervision over the observance of laws, pressing issues of criminal law and procedure, the exercise of prosecutorial powers in court proceedings, the organization of work within the prosecution service, the handling of citizens’ appeals and documentation management, international human rights standards, professional ethics, speech culture, psychological competence of employees, and other relevant subjects.
The final stage of the professional retraining course was held directly at the Academy in an in-person format, during which participants reinforced the knowledge and skills acquired through distance learning. Trainees who successfully passed the final assessment received diplomas of professional retraining.
