Within the framework of the international scientific and practical conference, a parallel session was held on the topic "Legal Regulation of Artificial Intelligence: International Experience and National Prospects." The event brought together leading lawyers, information technology specialists, and representatives of government bodies from Uzbekistan, Turkey, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and several other countries.
During the session, participants discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of artificial intelligence and the formation of a modern legal framework for its safe application. In particular, international approaches to regulating digital technologies, including European and Asian models, were analyzed, and special attention was paid to the issues of adapting national legislation to global trends.
Another important area of discussion was the risks and opportunities associated with the use of artificial intelligence in law enforcement practice. The presentations discussed the possibilities of using intelligent systems in the investigation of offenses, forecasting threats, and ensuring public safety, ranging from the automation of administrative processes. The speakers emphasized the need to create reliable legal mechanisms that ensure a balance between innovation and the protection of human rights.
The participants also considered the ethical aspects of implementing artificial intelligence, transparency of algorithms, protection of personal data, prevention of discrimination and abuse. An exchange of views took place on the responsibility of developers, providers, and operators of artificial intelligence systems, as well as the role of the state in creating a unified regulatory framework for the regulation of new technologies. It is noted that the formation of coordinated approaches to the regulation of artificial intelligence is an important condition for ensuring the rule of law in the context of rapidly developing technologies.
The conference is continuing. Based on its results, recommendations will be developed aimed at developing the legal infrastructure in the field of artificial intelligence, increasing the security of digital systems, and protecting the rights of citizens.
