The Academy announces a competition for the position of UI/UX designer (temporary work on a contract basis)

The Law Enforcement Academy of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 28, 2022 No. UP-257 "On the Introduction of a Qualitatively New System for Training Qualified Personnel in the Field of Crime Investigation."

Within the framework of the implementation and development of digital education systems at the Academy, there is a need to attract a highly qualified specialist on a temporary basis in the specialty of UI/UX designer.

In case of approval of the documents submitted by the specialist, a bilateral civil law agreement is signed between him and the Academy.

The specialist must perform the following tasks:

• Design and modernization of user-friendly web and mobile interfaces for educational platforms and information systems;

• Creating and prototyping UI layouts using tools such as Figma and Adobe XD;

• Development and implementation of designs in cooperation with "Front-end" developers;

• Analyze user experience, identify potential problems and make suggestions;

• Create and maintain a "design guide," a "UI component library" for systems;

• Participation in conducting "focus groups" and "test sessions" with respondents.

Depending on the volume of work performed, other tasks may be assigned to the specialist.

Requirements for the candidate:

• have higher education in the field of "UI/UX" or a corresponding course/certificate;

• Experience working with such tools as "Figma," "Adobe XD," "Photoshop," "Illustrator" (at least 3 years);

• at least 2 years of experience in web and mobile application interfaces (responsive design, accessibility, usability);

• Candidates with an understanding of the basics of "HTML," "CSS," "JavaScript," as well as experience in teamwork through "Git," will be given preference in the selection process;

• Complete knowledge of UX research, "wireframing," "prototyping," "user flow," and "usability testing" processes.

Working conditions:

• Duration of work performed - 6 (six) months. In the future, if necessary, the candidate can be hired on the basis of an employment contract.

The amount of payment for the work performed is determined by agreement of the parties.

• Working hours - 5 days a week, 8 hours a day (40-hour work schedule).

• Place of work - personal presence in the Academy building or work in a hybrid form, as specified in the contract.

Candidates must possess the following personal qualities:

• Initiative, ability to work in a team;

• Independent thinking and creativity;

• Responsibility and timely and accurate fulfillment of assigned tasks.

The following documents are submitted to the competition:

• Candidate's identity document (passport or ID card);

• Certificate of work and educational activity (objective sheet or resume;

• Diploma and appendix of higher education (if there are certificates, they are also provided);

• Extract from the work record book (if available, through mygov.uz);

• TIN certificate.

The deadline for submitting documents is January 5, 2026.
