From theory to practice: dual model in the training of investigative personnel

A dual education model aimed at preparing students for practical activities is being consistently implemented at the Academy. In particular, undergraduate students studying in the field of "Investigative Activities" are undergoing practical training in the investigative units of the internal affairs bodies of the city of Tashkent.

Within the framework of this stage of dual education, a round table was held at the Main Department of Internal Affairs of the city of Tashkent with the participation of heads of investigative networks and professors and teachers of the Academy, dedicated to improving the quality and effectiveness of dual education.

During the discussions, special attention was paid to the issues of students' direct participation in practical activities aimed at crime prevention and combating crime, as well as the application of theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired in specialized disciplines in the process of official activities.

Training and practical assignments are carried out under the guidance of the Academy's professors and teachers, as well as mentors assigned to the internship locations.

Students are also directly involved in various investigative actions, conducting practical classes aimed at preparing samples of investigative and procedural documents, studying and analyzing preliminary investigation materials, as well as developing professional communication skills within the framework of investigative activities.

This serves to ensure the gradual adaptation of students to the practical environment and to increase their readiness for future professional activity.
